Class Amphibia
 Frogs and Toads (2)
There are about 3900 known species of amphibians. Like reptiles, they are cold-blooded. However, they don't have scales and they go through a larval stage. Their skin is smooth and moist and occasionally has poison glands . Amphibians usually have 4 limbs and often have webbed feet. They have a three-chambered heart and breathe by lungs, gills , or skin either separately or in combination. Their skin limits them to warm, moist climates and they are found in freshwater. There are no true marine species.
