Family Mobulidae
 Pacific Manta Ray
The manta ray, which makes up this family, is one of the largest fishes. They feed primary on plankton though they do eat fish. They, like other members of the Myliobatiformes order, have a flattened, disc shaped body with large pectoral fins. They move through the water by flapping these fins and will often jump out of the water and slap back into it. They feed by swimming in large circles around a particular area. It is thought that this helps corral their food.
