Family Sphyrnidae
 Scalloped Hammerhead
Members of this family are the hammerhead sharks. Their body shape is similar to most ground sharks except for the "hammer" at the tip of their head. They seem to have a very complex social hierarchy and use vigorous bodily movements to figure rank. It is also possible that the "hammer" contains a sensing mechanism enabling them to navigate by the electromagnetic emissions of lava flows.
